Nature at Mount Mulligan

Every year Queensland’s flora reveals over 50 new species of plants, algae, lichens and fungi. Due to its unique positioning, the Ngarrabullgan tabletop is a ‘hot-spot’ for plants that grow nowhere else, and in 2017 a new plant species Labichea mulliganensis was discovered on the mountain and it’s the only place it grows in the world!

The lodge is set in a natural environment and is home to some harmless inhabitants, some which you might cross paths with during your stay.

SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL

We take action. To protect, to restore, and to preserve our environment so future generations can be left in awe like we are every day.
